The Santa Maria City Council is honored to recognize Mr. Carlos Ruiz as the Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department’s “Volunteer of the Month” for June 2010. Mr. Ruiz has been an active and dedicated volunteer in the Santa Maria Police Activities League (or, P.A.L.) Boxing Program for the past four years.
